MK 010 – Brandon Hilkert: Writing & Launching a Tech Book

Welcome to episode 10 of The Podcast!

Brandon HilkertJoining me for the first double digit episode of the podcast is Brandon Hilkert! Brandon is a self-taught Ruby coder that recent released his “Building a Ruby Gem” book.

On the podcast he talks about contributing to open source projects, the methods he used to write his technical book, how he used an email course as an MVP before dedicating a large amount of time to write it, and how giving away your best content for free can really pay off.

We also talk about using pricing tiers for books, which resulted in Brandon DOUBLING his launch revenue to $9000 in one day.
